Tools Needed:

Installation of Stud & Pin Mounted Letters

Step 1 – Hang the Template

Use the painter’s tape to hang the template. Use small pieces at the corners and along the edge of the template to hold it to your mounting surface.

Step 2 - Level

Use a level to put your mounting template straight on the surface and tape in place. This is a great time to stand back and double check the spelling, spacing, and alignment of your signage.

Step 3 – Marking

Use a center punch or nail to mark the stud placement on the mounting surface. Punch your marks straight through the template. Once everything is marked, remove the tape and save the template.

Step 4 – Drilling

Drill all the holes that were marked on the wall slightly smaller than the stud or pin size on your letters.

Step 5 – Mounting Letters & Logos

Apply a small drop of adhesive to each stud or pin in the back of your first letter. Align the letter with the mounting holes you drilled and firmly push the letter into place. Repeat this for the remaining letters and logo.
